One day i was riding home in the car and got a text from a freind. The text said that one of my freinds would soon quit. I have had so many great times with this freind, and he made the times i spent on chat so funny and great. We soon made so many fun memories and soon became what we know as Best Freinds Forever and Ever Infinity Plus 1's. This person was probably one of the nicest people i have ever met in my life. and it will be hard to say good-bye on his quitting day... I thought that we were almost brothers we got so close. For some reason i met him one day and the nest we suddenly became best freinds.This boy is the one we know as Slider94. My best friend on chat. He will be missed by all of us here on chat. Especailly me.. I'll always remeber those 3D glasses and graduation cap and of course the Snoopy icon. I'll always remember everytime i would log on chat you shouting "TIMMAY!" Some of these things just never get old. and we be remembered for as long as they can. These little things we did meant alot.. and for those of you reading this post who never knew who he was. he was three words... a great friend. And like i said for some of you who think him quitting is a "Little thing" this again to me is a big thing.We all hope he has a great life out in the real world and doesn't forget about his old computer freinds! I hope we can still stay in touch! Slider your an awesome dude and freind. and you will be missed by all of those who met you (eccept maybe some of our enimies ;)) I just wanted to let you know how sad i am of you quitting and i'll always be there if you need me. So my last words to you would be "Slideyyy don't forget to stay Spiffy!" Spiffy was our word that we made together. and now think. everyone thats seen us wants to have there name with a "Spiffy" infront of it. We made this website. and everything on it. And it should be shared with everyone. Slider your an awesome freind. And thanks for being one to me.

ReplyDeleteIt hurts more to say goodbye than it is to leave the world you worked so hard on. For the first few days, hours or minutes you will feel this need to log back onto a Club Penguin site or another online chat group. You'll feel desperate, like you can't survive without another post placed on your blog. But if you overcome this force and shift it onto your side, you'll become stronger than ever.
Slider, I know we've had our bumps in the road. But I just can't help but think of the days when awful graphics were filled with warmth. We used to be good friends, but destiny cut that road short. I made mistakes that turned you away from me, creating the image of a dark mask as my face. Those mistakes caused the fall of our friendship, and apologizing to you won't fix the broken glass.
Sometimes I think of what would happen if I never called you a liar, if I never made assumptions that had no meaning. Maybe we too would have made a blog together, maybe I too would do something different. But it's far from late to finally express how I feel.
Now that your quitting, you might go through some of the stages that I experienced. You might seem a bit nervous, as if quitting was a terrible mistake. You might have pain deep in your stomach, crumbling every emotion you had into sickness.
Instead of forfeiting the battle, you gotta do what you where born to do. Somewhere in this warm world is a place for you, a place that makes you who you are. Take the success you've done in this online world and bring it outdoors to the clean, welcoming Earth.
I guess that's all I really wanted to tell you. I'm not coming to a loss of words, I've just done what I came here for. But I do one to wish you luck with your life, and to make every moment a time worth remembering. You were a great friend, and you will be to the people of the streets.

ReplyDeleteQuitting something you've been with for awhile can hurt inside, on the other hand you know it's for a reason. I know it may seem stupid, but, theres always chances of thinking about those online friends you met through club penguin, chat, twitter and blogger. You never know what will happen.
In the real world, theres alot to experience. People think wrongly about leaving Virtual into a off the screen world. It's no bed of roses. Theres troubles, worries, sadness, yet theres Happiness, Joy, good times. Go out there and see exquisit sights, horrific sights, just remember that everything that you may see, happens for a reason, its a part of life.
When you walk out one open door, it closes and a new one opens. Slider, when you walk out of this door, make the most of the creative abilitys you have. Also, stand up like a soldier in tough situations you may feel/get into.
Some times, there will be bumps on the road that will cause difficultys. In difficult times, you need for friends. On that point, I'd like to say something:
Slidah ;) In the time I've know you, First season of cpskool, back at CPN, where we never really spoke and you was hedge's teacher, I knew at somepoint wed be friends. Time carried on and you was accepted in CPC, a short while before that we became close friends. You have helped me an awful lot, as a matter of fact you've helped me more than you know. I'd like to thank you for that. You'll remain my friend forever and ya better still contact me somehow, other wise you won't have any toes left hehe.
I wish you luck out there, things may seem hard at first. Thing ill calm down after a few weeks..
Although I am sad about you leaving, I respect that it's what you want to do.
Always make every moment of your life worth a memory. You have been such an amazing friend, It hurts to think your not gonna stick with us. But you will be a great dude fro those off the computer to become friends with.

I remember back in the beginning, when you were one of my first freinds, when everyone else didnt even give me a second glance, you became my friend. and that gave me strength to stay, to grow, and to become friends with more people. i think withouut you i would have stayed quiet and never really opened up to anyone online. thanks for being my freind when i needed it most(:
